Sis, Celebrate Those Wins! (Yes, Even the “Little” Ones)

Hey Mamas,

Is it just me, or do the days be disappearing? Like, HOW did 24 hours just fly by, and all I got to show for it is one thing off my list? The other day, I washed a whole load of laundry—for two adults and two toddlers—then had the audacity to feel unaccomplished because I had five things on my list and only checked off one.

But girl… I played myself.

Lately, I’ve been on this self-growth, self-elevation, “I’m THAT mom” journey, and I’ve learned a little something that I HAVE to share with my internet mommy squad. So, let’s get into it.

🎉 Celebrate EVERY Win (Yes, Even That Little One) 🎉

Let’s go back to my so-called “unproductive” laundry day. I thought I only got one thing done, but in reality? Ya girl was out here running a full-blown operation.

• Got both kids up on time (because waking a sleeping toddler is a delicate art).

  • Brushed AND flossed my 4-year-old’s teeth without a WWE-style fight.
  • Micromanaged my preteen like a project manager on a deadline.
  • Survived TWO chaotic school drop-off lines.
  • Made breakfast for my tiny boss (a.k.a. my 2-year-old) and curated the perfect YouTube playlist to keep him entertained.
  • Folded laundry between handing out applesauce, dodging tantrums, and keeping the house from looking like a disaster zone.
  • Had the tablets charged the night before (because, baby, I refuse to let a dead iPad ruin my peace in thepickup line).
  • Picked up the kids, avoided public meltdowns, and still managed to present dinner options to my husband like I was on “Chopped.”

And yet, I really sat there thinking… “All I did today was laundry.”Nah, we’re NOT doing that anymore! Now, I tell myself: “Damn girl, you DID that! Can’t wait to see what you pull off tomorrow.” Then I reward myself with a snack, sneak off for a 2.6-minute break (before the kids notice I’m missing), and enjoy it in peace.

Mamas, Stop Playing Yourself!

If you take nothing else from this, take THIS: stop downplaying what you do every single day.

Because baby, that “regular” stuff? It’s WORK. And you handle it like a boss. Laundry? That was just a lil’ side quest. You been handling the main mission all day!

How to Celebrate Your Wins Like the Queen You Are 👑

✨ Say it with your chest – “I DID THAT today!” Ain’t no “just” about it.

✨ Hype yourself up – The way you hype your homegirls? Do that for yourself. No one clapping? Clap for your damn self.

✨ Treat yourself – Whether it’s a snack, a Solo Store run, an extra-long shower, or a whole self-care day, DO IT.

Because Sis, You Deserve It!

Mom life don’t slow down, and if we wait for the “big” wins to celebrate, we’ll miss all the daily victories that prove we’re the superheroes we are. page3image26013888 page3image26012432 page3image26013264 page3image26011808

So tell me—what win are you celebrating today? Drop it in the comments so I can hype you up!

Or hit my inbox—I wanna hear it, even if it’s just “I kept my cool when my toddler threw their third tantrum before 9 AM.” Because THAT is a win! 🏆

See you next time, Mama! We’re leveling up together. 💖
